Song one: I picked my first song to be "Rolling in the deep" by adele.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYEDA3JcQqw

Connection to "The Outsiders": I think this song is very representative of the moment in which Ponyboy runs away from Darry with Johnny. This is describing the rage he is feeling, as he runs away. I think this also could be representative of how Darry feels towards the death of his parents, and raising his two younger brothers.

Song two: I picked the song "I'll miss you my buddy" by Smokey Robinson
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NxIYxPiK1c4

Connection to "The Outsiders": I think this song really digs into how the gang feels towards Johnny's death. This song goes well with the scene of johnny dying, because the gang all liked him as he had been through so much at home, and has always been like family towards them.

Song three: I picked "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btPJPFnesV4

Connection to "The Outsiders": This really represents the heat of the final battle before it all happens. This also happens to strongly relate to the personallities of the members of the gang. It represents their crazy personallities, their thrill for life, and their fin-loving, free-going sprits.

Song four: I picked "Lean on me" by Bill Withers

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5jlPL1tNDY

Connection to "The Outsiders": This is a real reflection of how Ponyboy and Johnny viewed each other a they were together in the church, they learned to trust, and depend on each other. It is also really reflective of how the entire gang feels about each other given that they are like family.

Song five: I picked "Sweet Victory" by David Glen Eisley
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7fnlJ60RO8

Connection to "The Outsiders":This really is a song that would be played after the Greasers were Emerged the Victors of the fight. This is a song that resembles the battle itself, and the thoughts of the characters while the fight is going on.
